Have You Noticed?

Blogs, vlogs, new media, have the latest entry at the top, at the beginning, where one lands on a website at the top of the page. Thereby as you go down, or “further in”, or “further back” to older entries, you are heading further away in time, back to the “start” of the story. Older media had the start of the story at the start, as the lump of information with which the reader is first presented. Which is why (I’ll tidy up this paragraph later) this blog, this vlog, this website, this story is not going to be structured as a blog, a vlog, traditionally is….on my.. thinking on my toes, I’ll have the front page of the website be the latest entry and then I’ll have a few entries, say ten, that proceed reverse chronologically, then I’ll have other pages where I’ll “archive” things and have them start at the beginning. That’s the plan today, anyway. That’s the beauty of now isn’t it?
